In a new interview on "The Kirk Minihane Show," Portnoy said owner Charlie Redd misrepresented what happened that day in front of the 233 Elm Street pizzeria. The "One Bite Pizza Review" host blamed Redd for causing their now-viral screaming match and said he should accept the repercussions.

"You inserted yourself into this pizza review that was not a hostile review," Portnoy said. "I hated the pizza. ... I genuinely didn't like the pizza, but I was going to talk my way around it to make it a good review. ... Everything he says is a lie. He's made no sense on any level, but hey, it went crazy viral, so I was happy."

Redd confronted Portnoy outside the restaurant to complain that Portnoy's one-bite reviews were unfair and hurt small businesses.

"Enjoy your pizza as any customer, but I don't appreciate what you do, coming in and judging a business with just one bite," he told the media mogul. "Enjoy your pizza, but I don't appreciate what you do to small businesses."

Portnoy didn't appreciate the comment, and the two began shouting and trading insults.

Redd hung a sign in the window of the Davis Square pizzeria after Portnoy's review was posted on YouTube that read, "We are not talking about it," but Portnoy said he's done nothing but.

"There's been 10 articles in major publications, and none of them have come close to even telling the truth of what actually happened," Portnoy said in his interview Thursday. "He's making no sense. He doesn't want to talk about it, (but) he's talking to everybody. He doesn't like the way I review pizza, like I only have one bite, I always have bites. Like pizza places hate me — they all love me."

Business at Dragon Pizza, which Portnoy dubbed "the worst pizza place in America," has been up since the review. The pizzeria had to close on Tuesday, Sept. 5, because they'd sold out and needed time to restock. And there have been lines out of the door most days it's been open.

But it hasn't all been good news for Redd and his restaurant.

Redd told Boston.com that he's received death threats, and Yelp! had to temporarily suspend reviews for Dragon Pizza after trolls brigaded the site to give them a bad grade.
